| Bio: | Name: Remus John Lupin House: Gryffindor Year (for 1975-1976): Fifth Blood Status: Half-Blood Birthday: March 10, 1960 Pet (if any): N/A Physical Appearance: Remus had always been a fairly delicate-looking child, even before his run-in in Fenrir Greyback. He stands of average height though his thin frame sometimes makes him seem shorter than that. Due to the wolf's metabolism, he can eat and eat and eat but he won't gain a single pound. He's always had a fairly light complexion, though he grows paler as the full moon approaches. Dark circles tend to form around his eyes around that time, mostly due to his unrest and stress. Other times, however, he simply looks thin, if not a little frail. He's got brown eyes and brown hair that is cut fairly short (at least compared to Sirius's), with long bangs that tend to drape over his eyes when he can't be bothered to brush them out of the way. Biography: Remus is the only child of John and Cassandra Lupin. When he was eight, he'd wandered off into the woods behind his house and got bitten by Fenrir Greyback. Before Fenrir could abduct him, however, his parents found him and managed to fend off Fenrir enough for Remus to escape. Since then he's suffered from lycanthropy. This resulted in constant family strains, to countless near-divorces from his parents to a complete detachment from his grandparents on his father's side. When he received the letter from Hogwarts it was both a blessing and a curse. It took a personal visit from Headmaster Dumbledore to actually convince the family that it was safe for Remus to attend. After being sorted into Gryffindor, he made friends with his dorm mates Peter Pettigrew, James Potter, and Sirius Black. Since then the quartet have been inseparable, through thick and thin, the good and the bad. It was not long until the other three found out about Remus's "condition" and have, since then, been determined to master the transformation into Animagi in order to accompany him during the full moons. They've yet to actually perfect it, but the three seem confident this year is the year. Likes: sweets (chocolate in particular, of course), reading, peace, being outdoors, spending time with his friends Dislikes: pumpkin juice, prejudice, having to choose between his friends and his duty as a Prefect Classes: seven core subjects (Astronomy, Charms, DADA, Herbology, History of Magic, Potions, and Transfiguration); Electives (Care of Magical Creatures) Extracurricular Activities: Prefect, Marauder (it's a 24/7 job man) Romantic history: Remus is actually bisexual, and has had his fair share of crushes here and there. However, that's about as far as his love life goes-- always crushes, almost all of them secret, except when James and Sirius are feeling particularly nosy. What was your character’s status before Dumbledore’s spell? He was part of the Order fighting in the frontlines during the war. By the time Dumbledore's spell activated, he was long dead from a killing curse that had been thrown at his back. Current Students: What does your character want to accomplish this year? He just wishes he can somehow balance being a werewolf, a Marauder, and a Prefect. Let's not even mention the OWLs. | |||||||||
